Engine Oil Replacement Process

However, it's crucial to ensure that you drain the old, dirty engine oil completely to avoid contamination. Before draining, turn on the engine for a few minutes to help the oil come out more easily. Be careful while draining, as the oil will be very hot. When you are ready, locate the bolt-shaped thread on the right side below the engine, and clean the filter, though no replacement is necessary. This can be done with a tissue paper to remove any rusted particles.
Once the old oil and filter are completely removed, it's time to add the new engine oil. Make sure to replace the sponge filter, clean the other tube-shaped filter, and reinsert it properly. Ensure that all bolts and threads are securely but not overly tightened. Now, pour the new engine oil and run the motorcycle for a short ride to distribute the oil evenly.
